What Our Guests Are Saying

  • This was overall a good place for our short stay in St Louis. We had some minor issues when we checked in that we took care of ourselves, but were definitely unexpected. There was a dead rabbit in the backyard that we removed ourselves and the downstairs playroom was not cleaned, nor were the floors. There were visible crumbs left on the floor and a couple of dirty towels. The neighborhood/street is going through a “flip” with several homes being renovated so some construction noise was noticed. The location is good for proximity to the zoo and restaurants. There was plenty of space for our two families and the kitchen is very spacious and had everything we needed. We enjoined all of the games and entertainment throughout the house.

  • Tyler was exceptionally responsive and courteous whenever we had any questions or issues. The house was well equipped with games for all ages. The house had a great layout for all kinds of different activities in large groups. We especially enjoyed the pool table and table shuffle board. There was even a game room. The AIR BNB was conveniently located to numerous St. Louis attractions. There was also a two stall garage which had a ping pong table and a sauna. There were also several outside lawn games. We did encounter several issues. The A/C went out on the second floor and we spent the night with the temps in the mid 80s. Their was no filter in the A/C unit. The front door molding came off, the basement door started dragging, and the pool table was not level. The ice maker did not work even though we were told several times that it would work if we waited for the refrigerator / freezer to cool down. Finally, we were told their was no water line to the ice maker.

  • Great place to stay!

  • Thank you Tyler. Your home is nice and has a lot of potential. We appreciated the larger room with the multiple beds. The space is cool. The games were fun- a really great touch! The basement isn’t really good for average height or taller people as you have to dip to get in/ around. Apparently there were some new renovations done before we got there, which I am considering as I review. However, I do want to say that I would have been happier knowing that when/ before I booked my stay.

  • Thanks for the stay

  • The most responsive host that I’ve ever worked with. While the house had a few concerns, he addressed them quickly and made sure to follow up. We had a large group of 14 staying here and the house had more than enough space to spread out or be together as each person needed. There are a ton of games available to stay busy and more than enough space to use them all at once. We would absolutely stay here again. Thanks for the great spot!

  • We stayed shortly after this property went live again and appreciate the effort that went into restoring an older home. However, it did not match the “new” $ “fresh” impression presented in the listing. We found hair on the floor & a food wrapper left in a drawer upon arrival. We paid extra for the hot tub, but it was still being serviced and filled after check-in & took much of our stay to reach a usable temperature. The sauna was difficult to use in summer because it remained extremely hot. Several maintenance & safety concerns stood out: a broken deck umbrella, a very dirty grill, damaged walls and ceiling areas, loose light fixtures, a children’s play structure that broke with minimal use, broken glass near a basement door, no secure gate lock, missing stair railings, & areas where guests could trip or fall. Communication was friendly, but there was significant emphasis on receiving a 5-star review. Overall, the property did not feel as polished or guest-ready as advertised.

  • Tyler was great to communicate with. Received an email everyday and always a fast response. We had a nice stay an and a nice location and house. A few more dish rags and dish towels would be nice.
